Riding a Panda at the Mall?

I took my earrings out and forgot to put them back in.  And guess what?  My hole closed up.  Mommy had to get my ears re-pierced.  I was scared to do it because it hurt so bad the first time!  So Mommy said I could ride one of the animal scooters around the mall if I did it.

So I got to ride a panda around the mall.  There was a puppy that I wanted but some other kid rented it first.  But the panda was good too.  I had to take turns with Riley though but it was fun.

Merry Christmas

Santa did come!  I got some American Girl stuff for Grace Thomas.  Clothes and a horse!  Can you believe that she has her own horse?  I don' t know what I 'm going to name it.  

And we got our own Kindles!!! Yaayy!!! I can't believe that I have my own Kindle.  It is purple and only I get to use it.  

We spent the day at Gram's house and got more presents. I got Dora doll that has a dog that does tricks and some more doll stuff and books.  Christmas is my favorite day.  Maybe except for my birthday.  Christmas is my favorite day other than my birthday.

We are ready for Christmas!  Bring us some presents! Don't we look like we have been good all year?

Read, Read, Read

I really like to read.  I try to read all of the time.  I can read a lot of books for a Kindergartner. I like to read books to Mommy and Daddy. I always finish my Book It really early.

Sometimes Mommy and Daddy get mad at me because I won't stop reading.  They tell me to "?stop reading and brush your teeth"  or "Luci put down the book and get dressed."  I scream at them, don't you want me to learn to read!  But they still make me brush my teeth and get dressed and stuff.

My favorite books are Elephant and Piggie by Mo Willems.  They are really good books.  I have some Elephant and Piggie books and I like to get them from the library too.

A New Cousin

Maggie was born today and we have another cousin.  But the good part is this time it is a girl!  Too many boys at Gram's house.  We need some more girls.  Maggie is so tiny and so cute.  She kinda has red hair like Melisse and Mommy.

Grace Thomas

I got my Grace Thomas!  We went to the American Girl store and I finally got her.  She is so cute! And she is the girl of the year.  I picked out clothes and got her hair fixed.  She even got her ears pierced just like me.  The store is so big it has 2 floors!  I could shop there all day.

I am excited to take Grace Thomas home and live with her.

Big 6

Well I had my birthday.  And that means lot of parties with my family and with my friends.  Now that I am 6 years old I got my ears pierced and I get an American Girl doll.  Getting my ears pierced hurt so bad!

I had a party at my house with my friends.  I had Melissa, Ella and Sophia over.  And Ella spent the night.  

More family parties and more cupcakes.

And we went to Disney On Ice too.  What a birthday month.

I Think I Found Myself A Cheerleader...

When you are kindergarten you can join cheerleading.  Last year I would go down there with Riley but I really wasn't a cheerleader.  But this year I am a real cheerleader.  

I like the cheers but the football games are long and hot.  I didn't know being a cheerleader was work. 

Tired Kindergartner

I get tired when I go back to school.  Sometimes I fall asleep in funny places.  Like when we were eating dinner at Cluckers.  Zzzzzzzzz.....

1st Day of Kindergarten

I had my first day of Kindergarten.  I am stuck back in school again but I get to wear a uniform this year. I love wearing a uniform.  The shirts are red or white. And you can wear skorts. 

All the parents take pictures of us. They are crazy picture takers!  My teacher is Mrs. Balser.  Riley had a different teacher but Mrs Balser is nice.  

Vacation

We didn't go to Florida this vacation.  We went to Virginia.  Virginia was okay but it was not as fun as Florida.  We only walked along the beach one day.  It was too windy to get in the ocean.  The other days we saw old stuff.  Old houses and old guns and old people.

I did see an Indian house.  We went inside where this man was talking about it.  But I didn't pay attention because it was so stinky!  Oh my gosh!  I couldn't wait to get out of there.  How do the Indians live in there?

We did a long boat ride and looked at other boats in the ocean one day.  And then we got to explore an old boat that was for Pocahontas' boyfriend. I saw the Pocahontas movie but I don't remember his name. I liked the big pool at our hotel too.  So I guess there was some fun stuff but I like Florida better.  Just like when we are in Florida Gram and Poppy were with us.  Mommy said next we will probably go back to Florida.

Lost My Tooth!

I finally finally lost my tooth.  I felt like it was loose all summer.  I lost my tooth on vacation.  Daddy tried to pull it out before but it hurt and I couldn't do it.  When it finally came out it was quick and didn't hurt.  I am waiting for the tooth fairy when we get home from vacation.

Oh yeah...that tattoo is not a real one.  I got it painted on me when we were at the pool.

Summertime

 

I have been doing some fun stuff.  Me and Riley stayed with Gram and did a lot of swimming while Mommy was in school.  We went to some outside movies.  We saw Maleficent one time and got our faces painted.  They had some jumpy things too.  You watch the movie a big screen.  But one time it was windy and the screen was blowing around.  But most of the time you could watch it.

I have been riding my bike a lot.  I ride my scooter too. And we have been swimming in Gram's pool a lot.  Then me and Julian spent a week at Grandma's house.  We had a good time playing with the kitchen and all of the toys there.  When Grandma was driving us home, she asked where we wanted to eat.  I told her McDonald's.  Then after she bought us McDonald's, I told her "I haven't had McDonald's in a long time because Mommy says the chicken nuggets are not healthy." (innocent comment or manipulative little girl?)

I went bowling with Daddy today because I want to go bowling ever since we went the first time.  I had a orange ball but sometimes I bowled the green ball that Daddy used.  Daddy's ball was heavy.  He had to help me so I didn't drop it.  

Summer is fun and we haven't even gone on vacation yet!

The Graduate

I graduated from Pre-K and got my diploma paper.  I was the last one to get my diploma because Y comes at the end.  I am used to being at the end.  I liked Pre-K but I am excited for summer.  Mommy still has to go to school for 2 more weeks because she hasn't graduated yet.  So me and Riley are going to Gram's house for 2 weeks.  

We sang a lot of songs for the mommies and daddies there.  We had songs for all of the letters of the alphabet.

Ms. Shireman was the helping teacher in my class.  She helped Mrs. Crone teach us.  She is really nice and she helped us learn and do stuff.  And she made cookies with our names on it.

This is my friend Ella.  We have cookies with our names on it.  I took a bite out of mine but I didn't eat any of the letters.  

After the graduation and I went with Mommy to eat lunch and get a pedicure.  We went with Mommy's friend Alicia and her daughter Nora.  She is younger than me.

Mommy said that I am kindergartner now.  That is because when I go back to school I will be in Kindergarten.  Oh my gosh.  That.  Is.  Crazy!

Happy Mother's Day

I made Mommy some stuff at school.  I made a card that said Hap-Pea Mother's Day with a pea on it.  I like the card but I don't like to eat peas.  And I made a paper about Mommy.  Mrs Crone and Miss Shireman helped me write it.  Mommy liked her age.  

Helping Out

I like to help out on garbage day and put the trash can by the street.  I don't open the lid because it smells like Julian's stinky diapers.  Ahhhh!

Busy Kid

 

I started going to speech class.  The class is not at my school so Daddy or Gram pick me up and take me there.  Mostly it is Daddy.  It is in a different school and you go in door 16.  Daddy couldn't find it the first day and we were late.  But now he knows where to go and I showed Gram where to go too.  Miss Jen is one of my speech teachers.  I know her and she lives by our house.  I'm learning how to say some of the tricky sounds.  It is pretty good. I keep all of my speech papers in a different folder in my backpack.  It is in my Dora folder.

I am doing gymnastics again and I am doing swimming with Miss Lori.  I go to SIGS two days every week.  Riley does swimming but she doesn't do gymnastics.  And Julian doesn't do swimming but he does gymnastics.  He is in the baby class.  

Spring Break In Florida

We all went to Gram's house in Florida.  Well, not everyone.  Daddy stayed home to go to work and put tile in the bathroom.  But me and Riley and Julian and Mommy and Gram and even Grandma went to Florida.  I like that Gram has a house there because then we can go to the beach.

I was buried in the sand!  Don't worry.  I got out after this picture.  We a lot of fun at the beach.  And we went to my favorite restaurant The Frog Pond.  That is the best part of Florida.

March Madness

Today was the day when you wear clothes for your favorite team.  I wore my IU dress and IU bows today.  Mr. McGuire said it was the best outfit he ever seen.  But IU lost the game.  

St Patrick's Day

We are all dressed up for St Patrick's Day.  And it is Julian's birthday too!
