Make Way for Luciana

When Riley was a baby she saw the ducks in Boston. Today, I got my turn to play on the ducks. Every kid that walks by plays on the on the ducks and their mommies and daddies take pictures. So you don't get to play on the them for too long. We had to stop playing on them once because some people who were getting married were taking pictures. But I got up and down on them more than a few times.


Riley has the book about these ducks (Make Way for Ducklings). I'll have to read it when we get home.


Since this was my turn, I made Riley sit on the little ducks while I sat on the big mama duck.

Mmmmm.....chocolate - Hershey, PA

We went to a chocolate factory today. This place was all about chocolate. Yummy!


The first thing we did is went and sat at this table. This picture was before we started tasting different pieces of chocolate. I sat on Daddy's lap and I ate most of his chocolate. You were supposed to smell the chocolate and take small bites but I didn't listen. I shoved about 5 different pieces of chocolate in my mouth. :-)
We went on a ride that showed us how they make the chocolate. I liked how the ride spun around and went into the dark.


I wish that we could have reached the chocolate before it went in the wrappers.


On the ride they had singing cows. I only thought cows said "moo". It was my favorite part of the ride. Riley and I wanted to ride it again because we liked seeing the cows.


I picked out a stuffed cow from the store. You can see it riding with me on the second time through the ride. At the end of the ride they gave you more chocolate. I helped Daddy eat his chocolate again.

Luci's Thoughts on Gettysburg

Riley liked learning about Gettysburg but it was not so exciting for me. When we went to dinner they put me in this old wood highchair. I guess the good part was that I had my own tray.


I fell asleep on Grandma on the bus. I don't know what the guy was talking about but it put me to sleep.


We got off the bus and I took this picture with Mommy. It was a cool view but I was still waking up from my nap.

I think that the next stop on our trip will be more of my kind of thing...

Sea World

We went to Sea World yesterday. They have lots of fish and dolphins there. Aunt Sissy went with us. She took this picture that is why she wasn't in it. It was a really fun day and we stayed there until it was dark outside!



We went to a show where the dolphins jump out of the water. They jump really high! And they had birds that would fly over your heads too.


Here is a picture of me looking at a pool with baby sharks and some other things that swim around.

We ate some cotton candy. Yummy and messy! I still have blue fingers.

It was a long and exciting day at Sea World. Riley and I finally gave in and took a nap in the late afternoon. But we woke up and played some more after that. And I got a stuffed Shamu to take home too.

Splashing in the pool

Our house in Florida has a pool. I like say "wa wa" for the pool water. I really like to play in it. Sometimes if we go upstairs to our room, I will cry "no, no....wa wa!". Lucky for me, Mommy and Daddy take us to pool many times a day. Sometimes I am okay with being in my rafts. Sometimes I try to get out of it so someone will have to hold me. One Wrapped Luci Please

After we were done swimming tonight, I was really tired. Mommy wrapped me in my towel and I just lay down on the chair.

We're in Florida!

We started driving to Florida really early in the morning. Mommy and Daddy got us out of bed and put us in the car. I was up and Riley was sleeping.


We kept driving and driving. I took a few naps and watched a lot of movies. We stopped and ate some lunch. I had chicken nuggets. Then we kept driving some more.


Then finally we made it to Florida! We have a house that is on the beach. You have to go in this little room and shut the door to go up to get to our house. Riley and I are sharing a bedroom. The best part is that you can stand outside and see the beach!



And guess what? Gram and Poppy are here too! They were waiting for us at the new house. They played with us on the beach.

And I went in ocean for the first time! I liked it. I would have just kept walking out there but they made me stop on the edge. It was nice and warm.

The water jumped up and got my shorts wet! I never saw water jump like that.
