Taking Steps

Well I have started to walk around. I took some steps between Mommy and Daddy, probably about 4 steps. I have done it a couple of times. Daddy says that I just need to get a little bit of confidence and then I will start doing it all of the time. Mommy and Daddy kept working with me all weekend. They really want me to walk. I think Riley would like it if I would walk too. I have been pretty happy to be pushed around in the stroller and shopping cart. I don’t know if I am really ready to just start walking around all by myself. It might be fun, but we will have to see. One thing is for sure I know that these people will not give it up until I do it so you know I will just have to decide to do it soon. Hey Riley, do you want to RACE?

GG

GG went home today. She has been down visiting for a while. We have been going to see her everyday. I always ride in the stroller to go see her. We go to feed her and to make sure she is eating. Mommy says that she is being really stubborn and only wants to eat her fruit and pudding. I think GG is crazy I would love to get my hands on some of that real food. I bet it is really good. Maybe when no one is looking I will make my move and snatch some up. I love my GG she is so funny and she talks to me so sweet. Here is a picture of us the day she was moving back. Riley was not cooperating as Mommy would say and she would not get in the picture. Look at how cute Baby Landon is, and Tyler looks really tough. He is a big football guy.

Tyler's Football Game

I went to one of Tyler’s Football games tonight. It was the first game of his that I have been to outside of Mommy. I made it to two last year but I was still in Mommy’s belly. Providence was playing New Albany. Providence won the game. Everyone was so excited, but you can tell by the look on my face that I was not excited. I mean who said these things were fun. Everyone has to hold me and I can’t get down and crawl around. Where is the fun in that? Oh well I had a cute shirt on. Congratulations Tyler!

A Round of Applause

So I really love this clapping thing. I started doing it recently and now I do it on command. Mommy will say clap and I do. It puts a big smile on my face. I like to do it for people and when I see or hear other people do it. Whoever knew that these two hands went together to make such a great noise? I bet Tyler will like it if I clap at his football games. Daddy will love it when I clap while watching the Bears with him. Riley will love me to clap at everything she does.

Taking a Stand

I started standing today. I did it for a few seconds. I know it does not seem like much but by the look on Mommy and Daddy’s faces I know that it was a really big deal. They kept on wanting me to do it again and again and again, so I know it was a big deal. Riley is really excited too. She was clapping for me.

I Love Swimming

I went swimming over at Gram and Poppy’s house. Aunt Melisse put me in the water and I started crying because it was so cold. She told me that I had to get used to it but I didn’t like it. Daddy had to hold me first and then I got used to it. Then we started having fun. Mommy and Aunt Lissie were being crazy and telling me about all the stuff they used to do in the pool when they were younger. They said that they played The Little Mermaid and used to do handstands and flips. I can’t wait until Riley and I can do that. I probably have to grow a lot though before I can do that. Until then I just think I will have to chill out in the pool on a float.

Grandpa Is Here

Grandpa came to visit us today. Mommy and I were downstairs watching America's Got Talent and when it was over we went upstairs. When we got up there Grandpa was there. I didn't want to go to him at first, but after lunch we went downstairs to play and I just hung out with him for a while. He is so much fun to play with. He really likes to play with the dinosaur. I think that he likes the dolls too. I was showing him how I can pull up on everything. I also showed him how I can push the baby dolls around. Riley had to go take a nap so I got to play with him all by myself. I don't know why I didn't want to go see him before, because he is so much fun. Plus Riley told me that it is really easy to get him wrapped around my little finger. One time Riley got him to dress up like a princess with her. I wonder what I could get him to do.

Top Tooth

I have a top tooth popping through! Mommy has been watching them closely because she said it was going to happen soon. Tonight while she was brushing my teeth she found just the bottom part of my left front tooth popping though my gums. Man am I glad that it is through. I have been in a lot of pain with that. I think that I have been pretty good considering the pain that tooth caused me. Here is the really exciting part. Mommy keeps telling Riley that she can't feed me stuff because I can't chew because I only have bottom teeth, but that is all about to change. Another exciting part is that Mommy and Daddy will have another tooth to brush. I love to get my teeth brushed. I think that it is so much fun. I guess it tickles. I jump up and down when I see them getting my toothbrush. I like the way the toothpaste taste too. Daddy is so excited that I like it because he says that makes it easier. I will get you a picture of my new tooth as soon as a camera will actually pick it up on a picture.

Eleven Months

I am eleven months old now. I am BIG STUFF! I only have one month left until I am ONE! Riley says that that is a really big deal. She says that we will have a big party for my birthday and that I will be able to eat cake and icing. She told me that I am supposed to dig in and get it all over my face. That sounds like fun to me. Mommy is going to make me a little cake just for me and put a 1 on it.



All Riley ever talks about is her party. She says she is going to have a Cinderella cake. I guess parties are a big deal. Riley said she just went to Kaidyn's Birthday party and that it was so much fun. Ander is getting ready to have his Birthday party too. I guess I will go to it and see what it is all about. I didn't get to go to Kaidyn's party. I stayed home with Grandma. Mommy said that she was not going to take the two of us by herself, so I had to stay home. I really didn't think that was fair, but I did get to spend time with just Grandma and I. It was a lot of fun. She played with me and took good care of me. She held me while I slept. I love it when people do that. Mommy has been making me cry myself to sleep. She said that now that I have tubes and the bed is lowered and I can't jump out that I need to learn how to get myself to sleep. All I do is cry and cry. Then I just sit down and lay my head on the bumper and fall asleep. I think that Mommy comes in and lays me down later. Mommy thinks she is doing what is best for me, but I just call it cruel and unusual punishment. Why would someone want to force their little baby to cry. Riley told me to grow up and get over it because they did then same thing to her. Whatever! These parents need to change, not me! Maybe I can sucker Daddy into rocking me to sleep again. We shall see I will try it out tonight and let you know how it goes.
