Luci's Cardboard Box

Two guys brought a new dishwasher to our house today. It came in a big cardboard box. Daddy took the dishwasher out and put it in the kitchen. I think Mommy and Daddy are happy to have a new dishwasher that works better but you know what the best part was? I got a new cardboard box house! We cut out some doors and windows and was playing in it. I even squeezed my lion scooter in the there.

You might notice that I was wearing some different shoes. Those were Riley's light up shoes but I wore them around the house today. I put them on and Daddy tied the laces. They said that I was walking around funny with the big shoes. I think that I look like I know what I'm doing in this picture. As soon as Riley learns how to tie shoelaces she is going to have show me too.

Spring Break

This week is spring break for Mommy. She doesn't have to go to school. And Daddy took vacation from work so he doesn't have to go to work either. So they are spending all week and me and Riley.

It was nice outside so we went to the zoo the other day. This time I paid more attention to the animals than last year. Now I can walk up to the glass and see the animals. We saw Landon at the zoo too. I got to ride on a horsie that goes up and down. Riley called it a "miracle round". I guess that is what it is called. It was fun and my hair was even blowing in the wind.

You can see that I have a Hello Kitty band aid on my head. I fell outside and bumped my head. It is better now and I don't have a band aid any more. Daddy said that I looked like a boxer. I didn't think I looked like a box at all.

18 Month Checkup

I went to the doctor today for my checkup. Everything was all good. No ear infections, which is always good for me. I'm 31.5 inches tall and weight 26 lbs 7 oz now. The doctor said that I looked perfect and she liked my belly. The best part was no shots today!

Racing Day

Today Mommy ran a race. Daddy took Riley and me in the wagon to go watch her. My Mommy runs really fast! She ran 6 miles but I don't know what that means. We saw a lot of people running. Mommy gave us her jacket and sweaty headband because she was too hot. Then when the race was over she gave us each a banana. Yummy.

Who wants eggs?

Don't worry it is not for real. I'm not really cooking. We went to the aquarium and they had a pretend campground for people who go in the water and look for fish. Mommy and Daddy don't let me play at the stove yet. Only on my little kitchen set.

I'm also a really picky eater and I would never eat eggs or bacon. I like oatmeal or cereal bars or bananas for breakfast.

I had a good time looking at all of the fishies. Riley did a good post about the aquarium too right here .
