We had a big snow early in Jan. Okay it was not really that big only about 4 inches, but to a girl that is only 24 inches that is big. Mommy got to say home from school anyway. I didn't get to go play in it, but Riley did. She said that it was so much fun, but that it was cold. She had this cute snow suit and boots. I don't have any of that. Daddy says that I will get it when I am big enough to go play in the snow. There they go again with that too little stuff.
I know that it is not a big happening, but it was my first real snow.

Baptism
I got Baptized a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun. I got to go to church and sit in the very front row. Plus I was in this gorgeous dress, a big word for me I know but it was gorgeous. Aunt Sissy (Melisse) and Uncle Kevin were my Godparents. They were so excited to be my God parents. Everyone was there. Pa pa, Grandma, Tia, Aunt Rina and Uncle Carl all came into town to see me from Daddy's side of the family. Aunt Mary, Ashley, and Katherine all came into town as well just to see me. (Really we threw a baby shower for Aunt Kristie on Sat. and they were down for that as well). And of course my other fans were there as well Gram, Poppy, Aunt Kristie, Tyler, Uncle Steven, Uncle Tim and Aunt Cindy. My Mommy's friend Hillary also came to the church.
Father Eric gave me all kinds of blessings and put oil on my head and then poured water over it. They also gave me this white part of a dress to lay over my own dress. Mommy says that they gave it to everyone to symbolize purity, but I was already wearing white and I am pure. Then they gave me a candle for the light of God, but Uncle Kevin never really gave it to me. He just kept holding it.
After everything at church they threw me a party and everyone came back to Grams and ate. Riley got really excited when our friend Brady came with his Mommy and Daddy. She just kept hugging on him and wanting him to play with her. We all had a good time.
Four Months
Well I am 4 months old now and I went to the doctor. I just thought I would give you a few stats updates. I am 16 lbs 3 oz, 24 3/4 inches and my head is 15 inches around. My weight is off the charts, Dr. Howell says it is in the 95th percentile, but the lady in the front says off the charts. Mommy thinks Dr. Howell was just trying to make her feel better. My height is in the 50th percentile and my head is in the 30th percentile. It is all just a bunch of numbers to me. Gram told Mommy that when she was a baby at 4 1/2 months she was 12 lbs 7 oz and 26 inches long. She was a long skinny baby. I guess I get my meat from my Daddy. Whatever the doctor says that I am perfectly healthy and there is nothing wrong with me being big. Mommy says what am I going to do stop feeding her? I don't want to hear any of that talk because that is crazy.
Another note I have an ear infection at least in one ear. The other ear is too waxy to see into, yuck. Now I have to take medicine and for some reason Riley is really jealous.
UPDATE!! Riley decided to get an ear infection to try to get medicine too, but it turns out hers is just ear drops and she hates them. She also went as far to get pink eye in both eyes and she really hates the medicine for those. Mommy has to pin her down and still struggles to give them to her. Mommy has to get Daddy to help her all of the time. I am not that much trouble I just sit there and take my medicine very easily. Another big update, we went back to the doctor this week and I have a double ear infection now. Mommy says that I am going down the same road Riley went on only a year earlier than she did. Mommy also says that if I am going to have to get tubes then lets just get them and get it over with.

New Years!
Well another happening in my life has been a new year starting. Daddy says that everyone gets excited for a new year and they throw big parties and dress up really fancy. However, some people bring in the new year a little bit more low key. I am one of those people evidently. Daddy, Mommy, Riley, and I all went out to eat at The Onion. It is a Chinese restaraunt. I guess it is really good. Mommy says that GG likes to go there with Gram a lot and that Aunt Mary wants to go there when she comes in town. They did not let me taste anything, but Riley got to eat a lot of rice. She was even taking some of Daddy's rice.
Then we went over to Aunt Sissy's and Uncle Steven's house for a little bit to see them and their party. Aunt Sissy had a lot of her friends over. They gave Riley two glow in the dark necklaces, but again I got nothing. I really just wonder when they are going to stop using this your too little excuse. Riley says never because they are still telling her that.
After that we came home. I mean where is our big party? Mommy said that she tried to have Aunt Kristie and Uncle Kevin over, but they had other plans. Well guess what they showed up. Uncle Kevin was acting silly, but I enjoyed him. He likes to tease and play with Riley a lot. I wonder if he will be like that with me. They left before the ball dropped whatever that means and then it was just the four of us again.
Here is the big part Mommy and Daddy let us stay up until after midnight. It was so much fun, but then within 10 minutes after that everyone was in bed asleep. They tell me it is a big thing to bring in a new year and that it is a fresh beginning for a lot of people. I guess I will just have to wait and see the big parties when I am older, but until then it is neat that I am only four months old and have already lived in two different years.

Sorry, Sorry, Sorry
I am so sorry to all of my blog lovers out there. You probably thought I fell off the face of the
Earth. Well I didn't. I have just had a very busy mother who has not taken me downstairs to type on the computer, but she brought it upstairs today. So here we go I have so much to tell you and pictures to show you. First things first, I had my first Christmas and it was so much fun. Riley really liked opening all of her presents and mine too. I hate to see what she does next year when I can actually take over my own presents. We got a kitchen. It is going to be so much fun to play with Riley. I got a lot of sassys when Riley gave all of hers to Santa. Isn't that crazy! She is doing really well now and she is not even asking for one any more, but I ask for mine all the time. We went over to Gram and Poppy's and there were even more presents there.

Then we went up to GG's I don't even remember the trip because I slept the whole way but Riley said it was the best car ride she had ever been on because Gram and Poppy gave us a DVD player with two screens for our car. I don't get to watch it yet because I have to face the back, but maybe soon they will put the screen on my head rest instead of that mirror. I know I am cute, but I don't want to just look at myself all of the time.
The day after Christmas Grandma and Tia came down to visit us and they brought presents too. It was so much fun to see them and they just hugged and kissed me the whole time.
It was a good first Christmas, but I can't wait until I can really get into it next year. Ripping open presents looked like so much fun.
