Beat The Heat

Daddy was watering the grass and we put on our bathing suits and ran around.  I was a little scared at first and I was running away when the sprinkler was coming for me.  But then it was fun to get sprayed with the water.

We did some silly stuff and let the sprinkler spray us in the nose and mouth.  It tickled!

We have been having a lot of fun in the water.  Gram and Poppy cleaned up their pool and we go swimming over there.  The water is cold but we still like it.  I wear my floaties or I wear my vest.  And Mommy took us to swim at another pool.  Cammie and Maddie was there too and some other kids. Cammie and Maddie are in my swim class.

Julian's Sissy

Here is a picture of me and Julian.  He is getting so big and he can sit in his seat now. I always talk to him about his 'sissy'.  When he is crying I tell him that his sissy will make him calm down.  I love to hug him and kiss him too.

And I love to hold him.  When you hold a baby, you have to 'report' the head.  Because babies don't have a strong neck.  Sometimes he gets upset when I hold him.  But I tell him "it's okay your sissy got you".

I love having a baby brother.

Sidewalk In The Water

I was so excited to go to Grandma's house this weekend!  We drove in the car for a long time.  Me and Riley watched a bunch of movies.  We stopped at McDonald's so I could go potty.  I already ate breakfast but I wanted a snack.  They didn't have my favorite chicken nuggets so I shared a big flat french fry (hashbrown) with Daddy.  I never had a french fry like that before but I ate some of it.

Finally we drove past the windmills and got to Grandma's house.  And we saw Tia and Tio Brian and Grandpa too.   And we went on a walk down a long sidewalk in the middle of the big water (Lake Michigan).  Tia gave me a piggyback ride. It was windy so my hair was blowing.  Grandpa and Tia had to hold my hand so I didn't blow away.  I'm just tricking you!  It was not that windy!  But I loved hanging out with them.

And me and Riley watched a man catch a fish.  Then he threw the fish back in the water.  I thought he was going to put it in a bowl and take it home.  I guess he didn't get the fish he wanted and he wanted a different one.
