Post Christmas

We went to go see the Frozen movie.  And me and Riley took our dolls.  My doll is named Anna.  It was a good movie.  I ate some popcorn.  Grandma and Gram came.  And so did Aunt Sissy and Steven. 

Grandma and Tia came to visit us.  I like it when they live in our basement.  Grandma has a fun bed that blows up like a balloon.  I like to jump on it.  We played with our new toys and games.  We played I Spy Letter Fish and we played Beat Up Mommy & Daddy (actually Disney's "Beat The Parents" quiz game).  

Christmas Crazy

I was waiting and waiting for Christmas.  I kept asking when Christmas was coming. It snowed and I thought it was Christmas but it still was not Christmas. Finally, Christmas was today!  Santa came and brought presents.

 I got my Sofia doll.  I love Sofia.  

And I got my Barbie wedding just like I asked for. I love Barbies and I love weddings.  Barbie marries Ken and Barbie's sisters are there too. It was crazy opening all of the presents.  Look at the mess!

It was crazy at Gram and Poppy's house too.  Because now there are more kids because Julian gets presents too.  We got some good presents there.  I got Hello Kitty bowling and Barbies and a Dora pillow. And I got some movies and clothes too. And we played there all day and ate good stuff.  

Luci Says

Luciana has been expressing opinions and getting a little more sassy lately.  Some recent gems:

Luci: The snow melted.  Is winter over?

Daddy:  No.  Winter hasn't really even started.

Luci: Winter is so stupid.  I want it to be summer.

Daddy:  You don't get to decide.  I'm the boss.

Luci:  You're not the boss.

Daddy: Yes I am.

Luci:  No.  God is the boss.  

Dance Debut

Me and Riley got to be angels in the Nutcracker. I know about the Nutcracker because Barbie Nutcracker is one of my favorite movies.  I got to wear wings and halo on my head.  I liked flapping our wings.  And I liked when we picked up the flowers (in the dance).  There were a lot of big kids that did more dancing.  So many beautiful outfits.

Pancakes & Santa

We had pancakes at Riley's school and Santa was there!  Me and Daddy saw him at the mall too.  He is driving around all over the place.  After I ate my pancakes we went to see him.

I told him that I wanted Barbie Little People for Christmas.  He asked me if I was good.  And he asked me what my little brother wanted.  I didn't know.  I said "He wants baby toys I guess".

Julian didn't like it when Mommy and Daddy walked away.  They had to pick him up again.  I hope he likes his baby toys because he didn't tell Santa anything else.

Hmmm....which color?

I don't know which "en-a-mens" (M&M) to pick.  Green?  Blue?  Yellow?   I don't know but I'll eat them all!

Cold Football Game

We went to IU football and it was cold.  We wore our IU hats and gloves.  I couldn't get the ice cream dots because it was cold.  But I ate a pretzel and drank some hot chocolate.

It was so cold that I played my LeapPad games under the blanket.

Pictures of Luci

We went to a park to take pictures of me and Riley and Julian and some with Mommy and Daddy.  I always like getting my picture taken.  

Julian was on our backs like he was climbing on us.  It was funny but he started crying.

Hallaaweeeen!!!

It is Hallaween!  I'm snuggling up with Julian in case there are any scary movies on.  I know there are scary movies and I don't like them.  If I see a scary movie on TV then I close my eyes.

I was Sofia for trick or treating and Riley was Merida.  We got our dresses at the Disney Store.  I like watching Sofia The First.  It is like my favorite show.  It is a good show.  See the ghosts we taped on the wall?

But then I wasn't wanting to trick or treat at first.  Sometimes I just don't want to do something.  Mommy even had a costume and walked to some houses with me so I would do it.  Then I started going by myself.  I love Mommy.  And I still got a lot of candy.

Snazzy Dresser

I dressed myself today.

Bulls, Elephants and Dinosaurs!!!

We went a trip to Chicago.  I don't know what Chicago is but we saw a lot of animals there.

When you walk on the street there are a lot of people and noises.  We found a cow with horns on the street.  I wanted to climb on it.

We ate at a restaurant in the jungle (Rainforest Cafe).  There were monkeys in the trees and crocodile in the river.  There were these BIG elephants that moved and made noises. I didn't know if they were real. I told Daddy to ask the man if they were real.  But they aren't real.  Me and Riley went and touched their trunks.

I don't know what kind of animal this is.  It might be a lion with ribbon on it.  I'm wearing my Sofia crown that I got from the Disney store.  I picked out a Sofia dress for Halloween but Mommy didn't let me buy a phone there I wanted.

And we went to a museum and saw dinosaurs.  The dinosaurs are dead but they are big.  The museum has a lot of dead animals. My favorite part of the museum was pushing buttons to see what the buttons would do.  And I liked playing in the corn house.

Kids Party

We had a party at SIGS.  My friends were there like Cammie and Kaidyn and Landon.  This time I got to invite some of my friends from Alice's house.  I was excited that Madeline and Mariah came to my party too. It was fun to play with them because I only see them at Alice's house.  We played with blocks and tried to build a castle.

Checkup Time

I went to the doctor to get a checkup just like Doc McStuffins. I am 39 3/4 inches tall and weigh 38 pounds. My doctor gave me a book to read. She knows that I love books. And I got to wear a paper dress. It made a lot of noise. The doctor said I was healthy but that I need to eat more vegetables.  Hmmmm. I don't know about that.

Double Birthday Party

Me and Riley had a birthday party together.  I have lots of birthdays.  I have my real birthday and then the birthday party.  We got lots of presents.  I got a lot of clothes and some toys.  I got a Hello Kitty notepad for writing all my notes. And I got a Hello Kitty purse.  I got a princess matching game and a whale puzzle too.

Our birthday cake at the party was a cookie with icing.  Yummy.  Everyone sang Happy Birthday to us.  (Don't count the candles...Daddy didn't have enough for 6 + 4.)  On my real birthday I had a cupcake.  Uncle Tim gave me a cupcake and Grandpa gave me some gummy candy at the party.  It was a good thing I had all of those desserts because Mommy and Daddy didn't have food that I like - chicken nuggets, hot dogs or fish sticks - at the party.

I'm 4

My birthday is finally here!  Birthday! Birthday! Birthday!  Mommy made me a shirt with a big 4 on it.

Tiny Dancer

I am taking dance class just like Riley.  I watched Riley's class before.  Sometimes I got to do the ribbons or shake the blankets.  Now I get to do all of the dancing.  I have to watch the teacher and I have to watch Riley to see how to do it.  Miss Sara is my dance teacher.  She is nice just like Miss Lori my swim teacher.

It is a ballet and jazz class.  We practiced some ballet dancing and walking on your tip toes.  I even jumped around so much my skirt was falling down.  I need to practice my sassy walk.  Daddy said I have a lot of sassy to show. I got a little bit shy the first time because I don't know all of the girls there. But it was fun to be with Riley.                                                                                                                                                        

Little Notetaker

I am all about taking notes these days.  I have been caring around a couple of notebooks.  When I went to the library today I had to take my notepad.  After I picked out each book I sat down and wrote it down.  I don't know how to write yet but I like to pretend that I can write.

I even have been taking my notepads to Alice's house.  One day I had an idea that she could write down when she gave Julian a bottle and give the note to Mommy or Daddy when they picked us up.  I share my notepad with my friend Abby.  I really like taking notes.

Birthday Party

It was Kaidyn's birthday party but Riley was with Gram so she couldn't go.  But my best friend Cammie was there so I didn't care.  We got our faces painted and we jumped in the bouncey thing.  And we played on the swings.  It was a fun party.

Driving On the Internet

Here is the conversation in the car this morning.  Luciana was enjoying the breeze from having the windows rolled down...

Daddy:  "Alright, we have to roll up the window because we are getting on the interstate."

After a few minutes...
Luciana: "Daddy, are you off the internet?"

D: "What?....oh you mean the interstate?"

L: "Yeah, I want to roll the windows down.  When you see those (concrete) walls do you know you are on the internet?"

D: "We are on the interSTATE.  Not the internet. The internet is on the computer."

L: "Oh yeah. The internet is how Gram watches movies on her ipad." 

Leaving Florida

I had a lot of fun in Florida.  

But we had to say bye to the ocean and drive home.

Beach Walks

At night we take walks on the beach.  We don't wear our swimsuits when we go for a walk.  You just wear your clothes.  When Riley spent the night with Gram we went for a walk and found a hill someone made in the sand.

We ran away from Daddy and Kristie and Kevin.  You won't catch us!  Ha ha!
