Nodding

I have recently started nodding my head to tell Mommy yes. She is so excited because she knows that I am understanding more of what she says. She will ask me if I want to eat and I will nod. She will ask me if I want milky and I will nod. She will ask me if I want to take a nap and I will shake my head no. I hate those things! Is she crazy? It is amazing how much I am growing up. I really just stand back and think of how far I have come and I just amaze myself.

Christmas Presents

Santa Came!!!! We had so much fun Christmas Day! We were so busy and had so much to do First we woke up and opened presents at home. We got a lot of book and DVDs. I got a princess baby doll play set with baby Cinderella. Then Riley and I got to open our big present a BARBIE JEEP! I love it. I want to sit in it all the time. In fact on Christmas Day I got in it and did not want to get out to open any more of my presents. I even had my whole stocking to open and I just wanted to sit in the jeep and play. I can't wait until we get to take that thing outside.



After opening our presents at home we went to Gram and Poppy's house. We ate breakfast and then opened more presents. Gram and Poppy gave me baby Ariel. Aunt Cindy and Uncle Tim gave me a play drum and xylephone. Aunt Kristie and Uncle Kevin gave me new shoes. They are so cool I had to put them on right away. Aunt Lissie and Uncle Steven got me a jewelry box and cell phone. I think Aunt Lissie does not want me to try to talk to Mommy's ipod any more.



Then we headed up to GG's house. She was not there she is living with Jesus now, but we still got together with the Keegan Family at her house. Katherine had my name and she went crazy getting me clothes and puffs. I love those puffs.

When we came home the next day Tia Adrienne and Grandma came down to see us and they brought presents too. Tia and Grandma got me shoes. Grandpa got me clothes, a cell phone, and a snow man. The Kuerek's got me clothes to keep me warm in the coming months. Tio Brian got me a baby doll.





I got a lot of stuff and no matter who it is from I am thankful for it all because I am a busy girl and I will get into all of it.

The real present is getting to see everyone and to be able to spend time with each other, or at least that is what Mommy tells me.

Ferree Family Christmas

Yesterday was the Ferree Family Christmas at Gram's house. There were a lot of people there. I have never seen so many people in Gram and Poppy's house. At first I was a little shy and didn't want anyone to hold me except for Daddy. After a little while I stared to warm up to people. I really liked playing with Landon. We were having fun digging through Gram's toy chest. Sometimes I would practice my wrestling moves on him. Or maybe they are my football moves that Tyler showed me because I was kind of tackling him. Either way we had fun. I can't wait until he can walk because we are going to have so much fun together.

I went back old school baby and got in my exer-saucer for a while. That is where I ate my dinner too. It was fun. I was sitting on the inside and Landon was playing with the toys standing up on the outside.

Then we had this game where you draw a number and win a stalking. I won this little ball that has pokies coming out of it. The pokies are not sharp do not worry. It also has a sting attached to it and when Mommy pulls the string the ball shakes. I just love that ball. It makes me laugh and laugh.

Everyone said I am just so cute and that I have gotten so big. I guess I am cute because everyone says I look just like Daddy and Daddy is cute. I know that I have gotten so big, but by the looks of all the people at the party I have a long way to go to get that big. It was funny to walk around and navigate my way through their legs.

It was a good day. Five Days until Christmas. By the way Mommy keeps telling me to tell people so I guess I will tell you Santa says "HO!HO!HO!"

Christmas Time

It is getting close to Christmas and I am so excited. I can't wait to open my presents. I have been practicing on other people's presents that are already the tree. Daddy told me no, but I really need the practice. I was not good at it last year. Mommy and Riley had to do it all for me, but this year I really want to be part of the action.

My Cuteness

It is so embarrassing that I have forgotten where the computer was located. I have been pretty busy though. I have traveled a lot in the last month and half. I had a few big holidays. I will try to go back and do some blogging and just back date it, but I might as well tell you some cute stuff I have been doing.

I am really trying to talk a lot. I am telling everyone hi, especially on the phone. I pick up the telephone and just say hi to whoever is on there although no one usually says anything back. Mommy says it is because no one is really on the line. I am not trying to talk on a line I am trying to talk on the phone. Who knows what that crazy lady is talking about.

I love babies. I like to pick one up and carry it around with me everywhere. I even say baby. You may not understand me but Daddy does.

Th other day I picked up the ice pack and put it on my head. I seem to bump my head a lot, that is why I know what to do with an ice pack. I don't walk very straight these days. It it probably because I have an ear infection in my right ear. Um I have tubes that is not supposed to happen. But it does and the best of all is that I have Whooping Cough and I am not even coughing. I am also supposed to be vaccinated for that. I am one crazy girl.

Today Mommy stayed home with us because I can't go to the sitter. I didn't know Daddy was not here so while she gated us in the basement I went to the gate and yelled for Dada, Dada, Dada, but then Mommy came and told me that he was at work. Don't get me wrong Mommy was in the basement with us, she didn't just put us down there by ourselves.

I say doggy whenever I see Wrigley. Mommy says that she thinks I am going to talk before Riley did. I think that I just want to be able to tell that woman what is on my mind. She keeps trying to feed me all this food I don't like. You would know it as real food, but I really just don't like it no thank you I will stick to my baby food. I do like McDonald's Hamburgers though.

I also like to feed everyone. I go to my kitchen get a pot and spoon, I mix and mix and then let everyone taste. Sometimes I take a taste too and believe me it is yummy.

Decorating the House

When we got home from Thanksgiving at Grandma's and Grandpa's Mommy got to work right away decorating the house for Christmas. Daddy says that Mommy goes crazy and has to do this every year the day we get home from Thanksgiving. Mommy says that she is not crazy just loves decorating for Christmas and that if you are going to do all that work you might as well be able to enjoy it for awhile. Aunt Lissie and Uncle Steven came over to help us decorate. I really like it when they come over. Aunt Lissie likes to give me kisses and hugs.

I got to help, no wait I didn't really get to help. They just kept telling me No Don't Touch That. Luci stop, No Luci. Riley told me that when she was my age she got to help decorate the tree, I think that Mommy would have let me help the ornaments would not hurt me, or at least that is what she keeps telling me. So I guess I will just have to keep undecorating things and maybe they will learn their lesson for next year.

Thanksgiving

We went up to Grandma and Grandpa's for Thanksgiving again this year. Tia was in town too! It was so much fun to see her and Tio because they like to play with us so much. Wrigley got to go up with us too. He got to sit by me the whole rid up.

Everyone came over to Grandma's house. I got to see Baby Luca again. He is just a baby too. He can't walk but he is getting close. We played together on the floor. I like to see other babies.

Everyone talked about how good the food was but I just can't stand big people food. It just does not taste good to me. Mommy and Daddy keep trying to give it to me and I just keep spitting it out. It is so yucky. Mommy wishes she could figure out why I don't like it but I won't tell her.

We also went over to Carl and Rina's house and got to see Baby Madden. He is getting bigger, but he is still so small. He can't even walk yet. That is something even I can do. Daddy says that he will learn soon enough and then he will be chasing me around the house.

The day after Thanksgiving we went to Bella Boo's. It is a fun place just for kids. They have all of these little rooms for kids to play in. There is the water room, the train room, the art room, the baby room, the imagination area, the cooking room, the story room, the climbing room and many more. We met one of Daddy's high school friends there and his family. We had so much fun. I really loved the baby room even though I am not a baby because it was room that Daddy could just put me down in and I could crawl around and do anything I wanted. We had a good time.

It was a good visit with everyone. I can't wait to go back up again.

Feeding Myself

I am getting to the point where I can take over things now. I have recently decided that if Mommy and Daddy let me I am going to feed myself. I can do it and I am pretty good at it. I may be a little messy but it does take practice.

Reading Chair

This is one of my favorite things to do. I got into Riley's room and sit in her chair. I love to just sit in it. Sometimes I have a baby doll that I am rocking. Sometimes I have a book that I am reading. I still need some work on my print concepts (Notice the book is upside down). Oh well I am sure Riley will teach me.

Fun at the Park

We had a lot of fun at the park today. We went to the park in Brazil, that is where my GG lived. But my GAM (GREAT Aunt Mary) still lives there. They had so many fun things to do. They had slides, swings, and this huge wooden thing that had tunnels and thing to climb on all over. I just really enjoyed the slides and swings. I don't know why we don't have a park like this. Were ran all over and played on everything. I hope that we go back there again soon!

Goodbye GG

We will miss you! We were so lucky to have you in our lives even if it was just over a year for me.

Halloween

I had a lot of fun dressing up for Halloween this year. I thought that I was going to have to wear Riley's Hand-me down costumes, but I didn't. Riley told me that I couldn't even if I wanted to because she borrowed her one year costume from Ellie.

I dressed up as a Ladybug. I was so cute too! Riley was Cinderella and she was so pretty. Mommy dressed up as Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. Daddy just dressed up as himself.



Everyone came over and got pictures at our house. Tyler and Landon dressed up too. Tyler was a Bengal's football player and Landon was a little Bengal. They were both so cute!



After pictures we got in the wagon and rode around the neighborhood. Riley kept getting out and going up to people's house. She had a bag that kept getting bigger and bigger. When that one was full of stuff she took mine and started filling it. I never got out and got anything. I don't know what she was doing, but I kept hearing her say Trick or Treat to people and they would give her stuff. I think that next year I am going to have to further investigate this procedure. Speaking of next year I wonder what we will dress up as!?!

Pumpkin Picking

We went to the Pumpkin Barn to pick pumpkins today. It was really neat. There were a lot of animal there. I liked looking at the ponies. Riley loved the pig. She even said that she wanted to be one. They had the World's Largest Hog there. He is 1,277 pounds I think. Riley said that she wanted to be a pig because he was three years old like she is. I think she is crazy.

Daddy got the biggest pumpkin. I think it is because he is the Daddy. Mommy and Riley got pumpkins that were about the same size. I got a little pumpkin because I am the littlest. Mommy helped me pick it out. I walked her over to the pumpkins to pick one and then I walked her to the wagon so we could take it home with us.

I am a Walker

I started walking today all by myself and I am walking all over the place. Alice went to Vegas this week and Grandma came down to keep us. Mommy thinks that is why I started walking, because Grandma helped me practice and I was free all day and not contained in a pack and play or a exersaucer. I can walk all the way from the kitchen to the living room and back. It is great. I am better without my shoes. The sky is the limit. You better watch out Riley now I can chase you down.

Mommy is so excited that I will be walking for trick or treating. She says that it is about time I started this walking thing.

At the Petting Zoo

We went to Huber's for Daddy's work picnic. It was so much fun. I didn't really like the food, but Daddy said that it was really good. Daddy tried to feed me green beans and chicken, but all I really wanted to eat was yogurt melts. They are so good and I had not had them in a while so I ate them up. After we were finished eating we walked over to the petting zoo. The goats kind of scared me so Daddy walked me away from them. I am not walking by myself yet so I had to be pushed around in my stroller. I watched Riley run around with Olivia. Daddy was great he hung out with me the whole time. After the petting zoo we went to pick pumpkins, or so I thought. We really just went out and looked at all the pumpkins in the field. I hope that we get a pumpkin some time because those things look like a lot of fun.


All in all it was a great day with my family. We need to have more days like that, but really I need to learn to walk so that I can have more fun.

Walk This Way

Well I guess I am really going to do it, I started walking a lot tonight. Mommy thought it might be coming after not wanting to hold both of her hands at the zoo. I was having a lot of fun walking between Mommy, Daddy, and Riley. They just kept sending me back and forth. I was really doing a good job too. I think Daddy said that I did 10 steps at the most. It really was a lot of fun just like Riley said it would be. I mean watch out because now I think I really will be everywhere. Big things are ahead, I just hope Daddy and Mommy are ready for it.

Going to the Zoo

Daddy and Mommy took us to the zoo today. We had a lot of fun looking at all the animals. I think that a lot of other people had fun looking at me. Daddy said that everyone just kept watching me eat my puffs. I guess I looked funny, but hey I was hungry and they gave me free reign to a bowl full of puffs.




We got to see the elephants eating hay off the ground. Mommy said that they have to eat a lot everyday because they are so big.



They are really big. Riley and I got to feed the giraffes. Riley really held the cup and I watched. Then we watched the lions come out to eat. Riley kept asking Mommy why she could not pet the lions. Mommy told her that they were not nice kitties. Riley is crazy if she thinks I want to get near that roaring thing. The monkeys were having a good meal of onions, peppers, lettuce, and nuts.



The hippo just kept swimming all around. It was nap time for the gorillas. That was probably a good thing because Riley is scared of them. All in all we had a really good day. I hope we go there again soon.

It's My Party

Well I had my party today. It was so exciting. Mommy dressed me up really cute. I wore a tutu and a shirt that had my name on it with a number 1 because I am 1 now. It is so exciting to be 1. Riley also dressed up for my party. She had on a tutu and a shirt with her name and a 3 on it. She is not really three yet, but Mommy made the shirt for her birthday too. Riley and I walked out to the party together and everyone said how cute we looked.

Everyone came to my party. All of my friends were there. We had such a good time. We ate and we played outside on the swing set and the water slide. I did not get to go down the water slide because I am still a baby. Riley says I am not a big girl yet because I can't walk. I just really like to hold on to peoples' hands.



Some people were disappointed with my cake eating. Mommy says that I probably didn't dig in because I was so tired. I didn't get my second nap because I had to stay up for the party. I just wanted Mommy to hold me. I really didn't want to mess up the pretty cake she made for me. I think that I will probably dig into a cake at Riley's party because I will take a nap. It is hard to be the star of the show.


Later I did decide I wanted some of Mommy's cupcake, when no one was watching except for that silly camera.

I'm One!

I have to go to the babysitter today so I don't have much time. I will write more stuff later. Do you like the birthday shirt Mommy made?

Well I had a great Birthday! Mommy woke me up this morning singing Happy Birthday to me. Then she fed me. Daddy put me in a really cute dress and took me to Alice's house to see all of my friends. After work Mommy picked us up and brought us home to meet Daddy. Then we went out for my birthday dinner. We went to Red Lobster. Riley was feeding me biscuits. At the end Riley told our waiter that it was my birthday. He brought two other people over and they sang Happy Birthday to me too. Then they gave me ice cream. That is some really good stuff. I am too tired to open any presents so I guess I will save them for my party. Hope to see you there. If you can't make it then check back for pictures and an update.
