Riley Has the FLU!!!!

Riley has been really sick the last couple of days. She started feeling sick when she came back from GG's with Gram and Poppy. Mommy said that she doesn't think that she got sick with them, but that she picked the flu up somewhere and no one could say exactly where. On Sunday she was running a fever of 103 and was coughing and had a runny nose. Mommy made me stay away from her. I don't like having to be away from her she is a lot of fun to watch. She is always dancing around and doing crazy stuff. Mommy says that one day she will make me laugh. She is also always very loving and caring. She wants to give me kisses and hugs all of the time. She even puts my paci back in my mouth and tells me that it will be okay. She is a great big sister, I don't think that I could have ordered a better one.

She finally went to the doctor's office on Tues and saw Dr. Howell. She is so lucky. Mommy and Daddy did not let me go in. They said something about not wanting me to get sick. I was just there on Friday did they not think about that then before they made me go get all of those shots. While she was there Daddy said she was really good and that she got some test done. They said she tested positive for the Type A flu whatever that means. All I know is that she is sick.

We have had to sit around at home for three days straight. Mommy says that we do not want to get anyone else sick. She said that maybe we can go back to the Y on Friday. Mommy just wants to give it one more day to make sure that Riley doesn't get anyone else sick.

She is feeling better now and Mommy said that she is not contageous any more. I am excited because that mean that I get my hugs and kisses back.
