Library Books

We love to read books. Riley and Mommy went to the library today and brought a whole bunch of books back for us to read. This one is about ladybugs.

What do you want, Deaf?

Here is a funny story that made Mommy and Daddy laugh at me....

I like to play waitress and ask people what they want to eat and then I go in my kitchen and make it.

I was in the kitchen and I said, "Daddy, whadda want?".

Daddy said that he wanted a cheeseburger. So I made him a cheeseburger.

Then I said, "Mommy, whadda want?". Mommy didn't say anything. So I said it louder, "Mommy, what do YOU want?". Mommy still didn't say anything. She was reading a book and she wasn't talking to us.

Daddy said, "What are you, deaf?" to Mommy.

So right away I said "Yeah. What do you want, Deaf?"

I didn't know what deaf means so I thought Daddy was saying that Mommy's name was Deaf. Mommy and Daddy both cracked up laughing at me. I didn't know why it was funny but I laughed too. :-)

Gymnast

I started going to 'nastics (gymnastics) just like Riley. I get to wear a special 'nastics dress. Don't I look like a cutie? Riley is a big girl and she does it by herself. But I am only 2 so Mommy does it with me.


It is pretty fun. You get climb on stuff and jump on it. Mommy helps me when I walk on the skinny sidewalk. I was high in the air so I'm glad she was holding my hand. And you get bounce on the floor and flop around. It is kinda like practicing a temper tantrum. Good practice.

My favorite part is that they give you a stamp on your foot. At the Y they stamp your hand but I think it is more fun to get a stamp on your foot when your all done. It was the first thing I told Daddy about when I was finished with 'nastics.

Guess What Luci Is Doing

What do you think that I am doing with this bowl on my face?

A - I am playing a game of peek-a-boo

B - Riley pushed my head into the bowl and now it is stuck

C - I am licking my bowl of ice cream clean

So what I am doing? I was eating some "tarmel" (caramel) ice cream. It was so yummy that I had to drink it up and try to lick the bowl. After I got done sticking my face in my bowl I went over to Daddy's chair and got a couple of bites of his ice cream too. I love me some tarmel ice cream.
