Hospital Stay

Well Mommy had to rush me to the emergency room on Sunday. She said it was because I had a fever of 101.1 and I am so little. When we got there they asked mommy a bunch of questions put me on a little table to weigh me and stuck that thing up my but again to get my temperature. I tried to tell them mommy already did it, but mommy kept saying shhhhh.

After the doctor came in to see me the nurses took some of my pee pee. I don't know why they would wan that. Then this really nice guy made me lay on a big table and he made mommy put on a really heavy shirt. They called it an apron, but I don't even know what that is. Then they took pictures of my chest. The guy said that I did a really good job.

Then the meanness really started. Those ladies stuck this really sharp thing in my arm and it hurt. Then they tried to make me not bend my arm by putting a board thing on it. But I showed them because I kept bending my arm anyway. I am one strong little girl can't they see that. Then they got really really mean because about four people came in the room and they made my mommy leave. The doctor told her she would cry. What does he know I am the one that cried and I cried a lot because they stuck this really sharp thing in my back. What kind of people go around hurting little kids. When mommy cam back she told me that they were not trying to hurt me and that they were trying to help me. Because she is my mommy I will believe her, but they really did hurt me.

After all of that some guy took us to another room and we stayed in that room for three days. While we were there people kept checking me out putting stuff up my butt, on my leg, in my arm, and on my chest. Again mommy said it was to help me. All anybody did to her was give her food and drinks. I really don't see how that is fair.

People came to see us everyday. Daddy was there as much as he could be. He had to work and take care of Riley. Riley came to visit too. So did Gram, Poppy, Steven, Melisse, and Sabrina (Mommy's friend). Mommy said that Kevin and Kristie wanted to come to visit, but that she told them they couldn't so that Kristie would not get sick.

Well as you can tell we are back home now or I would not be writing this to you. We went in at 4 am Sunday and came home at 9 pm on Tuesday. I was fever free and took my antibiotics like a good little girl so mommy said they let me come home. It is good to be back with Wrigley and Riley everyday again. But it is really nice having that thing out of my arm. Now mommy just has to remember to give me my medicine everyday. Good Luck with that mommy.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. We went to the doctor's office yesterday and I weigh 11 lbs now. Mommy said WOW!
