Long Thanksgiving Visit

I went to visit Grandma and Grandpa for Thanksgiving.  Me and Daddy went up early so I was there for a long time and we did a lot of stuff.  

We went to a wedding.  I hung out with Grandpa.  We went and got candy from the candy bar.  Yummy.

Tia was visiting with Boston so I got be with her alot.  She is reading me some books that Grandma got from the library.  She took us to the park one day too.

We went to the Thanksgiving parade.  I took my picture with a reindeer.  Mommy and Daddy were surprised I wanted to see the reindeer.  (Note: We guess the Disney trip last year shook the fear of costumes)

Ronald McDonald was in the parade.  I know him from my favorite restaurant.  He was in a big red shoe.  That was funny!  The parade was fun.

We went and played at Madden's house.  He is a boy that is our cousin or something.  There is another boy Lucas who goes to Grandma's house too.  Madden has some good toys.  Me and Riley never seen so many dinosaurs.  

I was excited for Mommy and Riley to get there for Thanksgiving.  It was a good visit though.

LaLaLuci

I was a LaLaLoopsy doll for Halloween.  I went trick or treating to get some candy with Riley.

Gram and Poppy came to our house to babysit Wrigley and hand out candy.  And Landon came with us.  He was a lion.  He said "rrraaahhhhhh".

After I was all done.  I sat with Gram.  It was cold so she cover me up. We saw more kids come to our house to get candy.  It was a fun night.

Luciana's Line of the Night

Daddy was helping me helping me go potty.  I went potty and then turned around and looked in the toilet when it was flushing.

Luciana:  And Bingo was his name-o!

Daddy:  You named it Bingo?

Luciana:  No, I just singing.

 Then I ran down the hall (after I washed my hands) singing "Bingo was his name-o!  Bingo was his name-o!"

Another Big Girl Step

I'm a big girl now.  I do a lot of big girl stuff and I finally decided to go on the potty.  I had to get rid of those diapers before the baby comes.  I have been doing a really good job.  I had no accidents at Alice's house this week.  Mommy and Daddy have been really proud of me - just like the girl in the potty book!  I don't know why I waited, it is much better than diapers.  I still wear pull ups when I go to bed but I'm doing really good when I sleep so I can probably get rid of those pretty soon too.

(Note: In addition, she can turn a chair into a rubber banded musical instrument...a multi-talented little girl.)

Big Sister Stuff

If you don't know, I have to tell you something.  My Mommy is having a baby!  I'm going to be a big sister.  I am so excited.  Mommy asks me, "Is it going to be a boy or a girl?"  I always say "a boy and a girl!".  Daddy looks sick every time I say that.  But that would be so fun to have a boy and a girl baby.  My only babies now are pretend babies, like baby Abby (Baby Alive) and baby Belle. I'm ready for a real one.

(Mommy/Daddy Note: Luciana and Riley are already is using the baby as leverage.  These are 2 conversations that happened today:

We told Luci she had to give Riley a couple of her Hello Kitty stickers...
Riley: I want to pick a sticker.
Luci: No. I pick.
Riley: I wanna pick it!
Luci: No!
Riley: Well, when the baby comes I'm not going to play with you!  I'm just going to play with the baby.
Luci (matter of factly): When the baby comes, you can pick.


Then Mommy was trying to talk to Luci about her stubbornness with potty training....
Mommy: Are you going to wear panties?
Luci: No.
Mommy: Aren't you a big girl? Only babies wear diapers.
Luci: Babies and Luci wear diapers.
Mommy: What about when we have a baby?
Luci: Then I wear panties.

Too funny.
