Big Sister Stuff

If you don't know, I have to tell you something.  My Mommy is having a baby!  I'm going to be a big sister.  I am so excited.  Mommy asks me, "Is it going to be a boy or a girl?"  I always say "a boy and a girl!".  Daddy looks sick every time I say that.  But that would be so fun to have a boy and a girl baby.  My only babies now are pretend babies, like baby Abby (Baby Alive) and baby Belle. I'm ready for a real one.

(Mommy/Daddy Note: Luciana and Riley are already is using the baby as leverage.  These are 2 conversations that happened today:

We told Luci she had to give Riley a couple of her Hello Kitty stickers...
Riley: I want to pick a sticker.
Luci: No. I pick.
Riley: I wanna pick it!
Luci: No!
Riley: Well, when the baby comes I'm not going to play with you!  I'm just going to play with the baby.
Luci (matter of factly): When the baby comes, you can pick.


Then Mommy was trying to talk to Luci about her stubbornness with potty training....
Mommy: Are you going to wear panties?
Luci: No.
Mommy: Aren't you a big girl? Only babies wear diapers.
Luci: Babies and Luci wear diapers.
Mommy: What about when we have a baby?
Luci: Then I wear panties.

Too funny.

Birthday Pictures

I had 2 birthday parties!  I had a party on my real birthday and me and Riley had a part on our shared birthday.  Riley always like to help me open presents.

We had a party at the 'nastics place.  It was a lot of fun.  My friends were there and I climbed on stuff.  I was swinging on a rope like a pirate.  Yesterday, I was singing "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" so I guess I was ready to swing on a rope.

I love purple!!!  

I'm Three!

Happy Birthday to me!  I'm finally 3 today!!!  Today is my birthday but I'm having a party with Riley next week.  Gram and Poppy called me on the phone and sang "Happy Birthday" to me.

I got to pick lunch.  I picked my favorite place to eat....McDonalds!  I ate some chicken nuggets and apples and drank some chocolate milk.  That is how this girl celebrates her birthday.

Go IU!

I went to the football game.  I like being a cheerleader and dancing.  I yell "Go IU, Go IU"! 

We went to little kid field and played football with Daddy.  He was chasing us and I was running and screaming.  And me and Riley pulled him down and jumped on him on the ground.  It was so fun!

Miss Independent Luci

 

Hello?  I have not been typing on the computer for awhile.  I been busy though.  Riley is going to school now.  So I go to Alice's house all by myself.  Daddy still drives me but I go in there myself.  I was asking about Riley the first day but since then I have been okay with it.  Now I am one of the big kids and Riley isn't telling me what to do.  I like seeing my friends there again.  It has been okay but I want to be bigger so I can go to school too.  Someday.

I am still going "nastics" class.  I was in a class with my friend Cammie.  We had fun.  Look at this picture with Riley.  She always has to win!  But now I am with the threes (years old).   When you are with the threes your Mommy and Daddy don't help you.  I get to do it all by myself.  I have to listen to the teacher and I have been doing a good job.  Mommy said so. 

There is something else that Mommy and Daddy want me to do myself....I can't remember what it is. I think it was in some room in the house.  But I can't remember. I'll let you know...

Mommy's School Helper

I went to my Mommy's school.  There were no kids there.  But I helped her work on her school room.  I put pencils in the desks and wiped off the drawing boards.  I like wiping stuff off.  I squirted bottle stuff on my hands because I thought it was "hanitizer" (sanitizer).  But Mommy said it wasn't and I was supposed to play with it.  It was soap for the drawing boards. I had to go wash my hands. 

I have to tell you something too.  I found my letter on the floor!  L is my letter.  The floor has everybody's letter.  It has Riley's letter and Daddy's letter too.  But I like my letter the best.  I showed it to Mommy and Daddy.

Riley is getting ready to go school.  I want to be old enough to go to school. I am going to be three on my next birthday.  Then I am going to be four and five and I will go to school too. 

Day at the Zoo

We went to the zoo.  And guess what?  Gram came with us.  She left Poppy at home I guess. We saw the animals.  Like elephants and giraffes.  We saw the elephants take a bath and I got to feed the giraffe some food.  His food looked like Wrigley's dog food and he ate it right out of my cup.  I was laughing.

The most fun part was the polar bear.  The polar bear came right up to us and stood up in our face!  I was scared and Gram had to hold me the first time. The polar bear was so big!  He did it one times, two times, three times.  He put his arms up and I put my arms up.  Riley said "I never seen a polar bear so close."   

It was a fun day.  I like the zoo.  Me and Riley were fighting over over the map so we did not get to ride the carousel.  You have to do no fighting and crying to be able to ride it.  Maybe next time.
