lt Is Official...

I am not a baby any more. Mommy put her finger in my mouth yesterday and discovered my secret. My first teeth are popping through. They are the bottom two in the front. They are both coming through at the same time. No wonder I have been a little grouchy. At least that is what Alice tells Mommy. I just can't wait till these things are all the way through. I am going to look just like Riley, I am going to be a big girl. Daddy says I am growing up way too fast. Mommy told me that Riley's first two teeth came in at the same time too. I really love that girl. We are going to have so much fun together when I can run around too. I mean she is always trying to play with me now and she gets me stuff to play with, but it will be more fun when I can chase her.

I have another ear infection. I have been really sick too with some really high fevers. Gram is going to take me to the doctor tomorrow. My highest one was 104.9. I threw up everywhere with that one. I hope that they figure out what is wrong with me or that it just goes away.

Well I better go to bed I am getting tired. Some really exciting stuff is going to be happening to me so just keep checking back.

PS I can't get Mommy and Daddy to take any good pictures of these teeth. Sorry they are such amateurs.

Ma Ma

So I decided to say Ma Ma today. I don't know what came over me. I was just sitting on the floor wanting Mommy to pick me up. She was trying to get stuff done so I knew I really needed to get her attention so I said Ma Ma. Then she came and picked me up. It worked. I just might have to try it again. She kept trying to get me to say it again, but I would not. I just kept shaking my head no. The funniest parts was that every time Mommy would say, "Say Ma Ma" Riley would say, "Say Riley" I think it is going to take me a long time to say Riley. I will work on Ma Ma.

Happy Mother's Day

Well I have been rolling around everywhere lately. I even got up on my legs today for a little bit. Mommy said it was a start to crawling, but I am not there yet. She really wants me to crawl, but does she know what she is asking for? I mean I will get into everything and have it all in my mouth.

I have been eating fruit now too. However, the last couple of nights I have not wanted to eat anything. I was in a really bad mood all day yesterday too. Ears again? Maybe. Poppy came over and looked at them. He said that one is a little bad, but not too inflamed whatever that means and he said that it is probably my teeth. Daddy says that he thinks he can feel something and I have been soaking all of my bibs. I am getting close to that age. Riley got her first teeth at 9 months. We will see when I get mine. Don't worry I will let you know.

Today is Mother's Day. Mommy gets her own day. That is pretty cool. She is a good mommy. She is always feeding me, hugging me, kissing me, holding me, and playing with me. I mean I think she is a keeper. Riley and I went and made pottery for her. We put paint on our hands and put them on a plate for her. She really likes it. Riley got to paint a flower pot too. I was just too crabby and didn't want to paint anything else. Today we took mommy out to breakfast and then we had a late lunch in the park. I slept most of the time when they were all eating because what else was I going to do I don't eat all that crazy stuff yet. I don't even know if I like the stuff they call baby food. I mean cereal is okay if it has milk in it. Milk may just be all I ever want. Although I do hear my mommy telling people that she is weaning me in July. What does that mean? Oh well she also says she has a lot of milk in the freezer. I'll just drink that.

Hello

So we have been doing a lot. Mommy and Daddy ran in a race last weekend and Great Aunt Diane came to watch us. We had a lot of fun with her. She sang with us and played games. I think she really likes kids. We went out to dinner with Poppy last weekend. We went to an Asian place with really big fish. Then Poppy came over for dinner on Sunday. I napped while he was here most of the time.

This weekend Mommy says we are going to two parties. We are also going to pick up Gram, Poppy, and GG from the airport. They have been in Florida. I have never been to Florida, but I think I am going to go this summer. On Saturday we are going to go to a Derby Party. Daddy says that we will watch horses run. I like horses they are so pretty. Riley shows them to me while we are driving home. Then on Sunday we are going to Landon's Birthday Party. It is not Baby Landon. It is Riley's friend Landon Walker. He is turning two. There is also another party this weekend that we aren't going to be able to make it to and that is Rachel's shower for Baby Maddon. Mommy says that he is not here yet. She says we have to wait until June to meet him. I can't wait meet him so that I can squeeze his cheeks. I tried to get a hold of Baby Landon today but Mommy would not let me.

I got over my last ear infection, but I have a cold again so Mommy thinks that I will get another one soon. I am probably going to get tubes I don't know why they keep delaying the inevitable.

I am getting big. I am probably close to 21 pounds. I think that all the jumping around is not helping my figure yet. I better start crawling soon so that I can work on my hips. Then when I start walking that will work on my leg rolls. Until all that happens I will just enjoy my curves because this will be the only time in my life that they are cute.

I turn eight months on Monday and I will need to put a new picture up on the side. Keep looking for that after Monday.

Aunt Sissie's Wedding

Okay so it has been about a month. Aunt Sissie and Uncle Steven got married yesterday! It was such a pretty wedding. Aunt Sissie was gorgeous. Riley and I looked pretty good too. We had matching dresses that Aunt Susan made. She did such a great job. Riley was the flower girl. She did a perfect job dropping the flowers down the aisle. I wish that I could have done it too, but seeing that I can't walk yet it really was not possible.

We had so much fun dancing at the reception. Mommy is such a good dancer. I would just scream and laugh telling people what a good time I was having. We stayed until they made us go home. I fell asleep on the way home. I was so tired, but we had a really great time.


Other happenings: A few weeks ago I turned 7 months. Look for my picture on the side soon.

I am really starting to enjoy cereal and food.

Daddy thinks that I am going to get my first tooth soon. Maybe I will get two at once.

I got anther ear infection, but hopefully it has already gone away. If it has not it looks like I will be getting tubes. I don't think I have one because I have not been really fussy.

Last week I slept through the night four nights in a row. That is huge for me and mommy is so happy.

If I think of anything else I will let you know.

Going to Grandma's

Well we have had a nice time at Grandma's house. We came up here on Saturday and we are leaving tomorrow (Tuesday). We have done so much. The biggest news of the weekend has nothing to do with me. Riley has been potty training all weekend. They say she is doing a good job. She has only had four accidents all weekend. Mommy has been setting her watch to go off and Riley knows that that mean she has to go potty. I had a great weekend without accidents too, until today. My poo went all the way up my back and I mean up my back, to my shoulders. It was really yucky. I don't know why it does that.

Another big step in my life, today I ate real food for the first time. I mean I have had cereal, but today I had squash and I hated it. It was so disguesting. I mean who made that stuff. I could not even handle having it in my mouth. I kept shaking my head and spitting it out and Mommy just kept trying to shove it back in. I mean can't she take a hint? Daddy says that one day I will love it and just want to keep eating more and more, but I just don't see that happening.

Well keep looking for more great things from me because mommy says that in the next six months I am going to be doing some pretty amazing stuff.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today is my first St. Patrick's Day. Mommy and Daddy tell me that I am part Irish. I don't know what that means but everybody had to wear green today. And I managed to stay in my green outfit all day without getting it messy! That is quite an accomplishment for me.
